Beautiful, classic Missouri nature. You could go a day or two without seeing another person.....very quiet. Great for extreme bike enthusiasts (a lot of big hills) and for joggers who want to test their fitness (there is a hill that is probably more than a mile long). Campground is middle-of-the-road ok. A lot of raccoons at night. No danger, but keep your food locked up, these bandits are very clever. They've figured out how to open coolers.

Had fun camping here with my wife. Beautiful peaceful campgrounds not to far from the city!

This is such a gorgeous state park. My husband and I are from Oklahoma and scheduled our first vacation to line up with the total solar eclipse. My husband was so excited to experience this. After some research, I found the park was hosting an event. They had activities, a food truck, and sold solar eclipse glasses for those of us who came unprepared (like me). All the park rangers were friendly and helpful. They even rode around in a golf cart checking on people since the weather was quite sunny and warm. You could tell this event was very well organized. It took a lot of the stress and worry out for us, especially since we have never been there before. We had fantastic front row seats to an amazing celestial event. I am so happy we chose to Babler Memorial State Park. If we ever go that way again, we will definitely make a stop there.

Not that bad. Spent 3 nights at the campgrounds. The sites were small compared to others I've been to. The shower house was ok. The shower heads are really low, had to bend down to wash my hair. Nice trails to hike.

A beautiful campground. Sites have good buffer. Chech in people are really nice. Would like to come back someday and see the fort.
